La Dra. María Alejandra De La Peña es una Anestesióloga autorizada con certificación de subespecialidad en Medicina del Dolor. Su residencia en Anestesiología se realizó en la Universidad de Miami. Obtuvo su subespecialidad en Manejo Intervencionista del Dolor en el Centro Médico Beth Israel Deaconess, Escuela de Medicina de Harvard. Después de completar su entrenamiento, regresó al sur de Florida y se unió a Spine and Wellness Center, donde actualmente se desempeña como directora de la oficina de Fort Lauderdale. También es profesora asistente de anestesiología en la Universidad de Miami.

 

La Dra. De La Peña es experta en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de trastornos de la columna vertebral, el sistema musculoesquelético y otras afecciones dolorosas. Su enfoque clínico combina tratamientos basados en la evidencia, enfoques multidisciplinarios para el dolor y procedimientos intervencionistas para manejar casos complejos de dolor. Se especializa en el campo de la neuromodulación y tiene un interés especial en la medicina regenerativa.
